I frequently use Twitter to document my progress; commenting on my current work and projects, and reflecting on my experiences on work placement. I also like to post links to my blog posts and news stories on the Talent/Aspire4u website in order to help me get my work out there for public consumption!
On Twitter, I also like to comment on relevant topics and products that are of interest to me regarding journalism and the media industry in general; may this be discussing a drama I have just watched or my thoughts on an article I have just read!
By following people and organisations that are influential in the media, I feel I can constantly be immersed in the industry I am passionate about. Therefore my Twitter feed is full of updates from magazines and other journalistic publications and companies, journalists, writers, bloggers etc... I also follow people I have met/contacted through work experience because I believe networking and keeping in communication is crucial.
